so i’ve been slack with the old ‘blogging business’. i’ll briefly catch up.

we’ve been chickens. not the scaredy type, but the clucking, roosting, pecking type. it was all part of character building, and seeing how we observed the world, and why we saw it in that particular way. apparently, we have the next Marlon Brando in our hot little hands…

we’ve got some structure to our piece. we brainstormed some crazy, but quite unique ideas. we’re going with an idea of someone reading from a story book, some of us think its “cliche”, but isnt that kinda fun? the audience thinks they know exactly whats going on, but really, they have no idea! we’re going to totally stump them with an oversized story book, full of their names, a top hat and no real running order what-so-ever! and i love it!

ouch.. my neck. sore-ness.. hmmph!

anyway.. wow! my first blog. where to start.. i wont fill you in about myself, theres plenty of info on my description thingo. mind you, i dont want to bore you. and by reading my ideas, thoughts, and probably seeing a few pictures, i’m sure you’ll learn more about me than i could possibly describe in just one blog.

i guess i’ll start at the beginning (which is probably actually NOT the beginning, because i was away for a little while. stupid colds, eye infections… *mumbles*). so far, we’ve brainstormed with the lotus diagrams. came up with some really promising ideas. well, our group did. dont know about the others. mind you, Gracie wanted dancing llamas, so i cant wait to see how that turns out!

ok, so today’s lesson, thursday. due to my painful and no doubt unattractive cricked neck, i couldnt actually participate with the guys today. all the same though, i was the scribe, along with Lachie. there was a crazy game, have no idea if it has a name at all.. but hey. you became objects. we had car, bunny, washing machine and cow. it was certainly interesting to watch. it starts with the group in a circle. using 3 people, you became the object, then switched groups. the catch is, you can only shuffle the circle, not cut across, for example. for year 11s, you could be forgiven for thinking this exercise would be easy. but no, it was rather messy.

ok, following this, we were given the perfect time for a snooze. Lana (our all precious, all mighty leader) played a beautiful piece of music, while we relaxed and let our thoughts run wild. then, we had to chase the thoughts that had run, adn capture them in a movement piece, using no words, only sound. we saw thing like tragic deaths, sad goodbyes, ballets, falling in love… ahhh! so smooth and romantic. this wasnt what i saw though. have you seen the movie The Notebook? I pictured the birds, flying over beautiful scenery, the sun setting on forests and lakes. i’m relaxed just thinking about it….

so here i end my endless ramble for a first blog. successful i think. so sorry if i bored you! but stay with me, it will get better!

cyril signing off.

‘blogging’ is such a cool word.
